ISF & LA at their best

May 22, 2007 around lunchtime

I was just checking news updates and am wondering how the current episode in Lebanon will end.  AFP just stated that Fateh El Islam has announced that they are responsible for the last 2 bombings in Achrafieh and Verdun.  Last night, one of the news channels stated that Fateh El Islam claimed they are not responsible for the bombings.  Who and what to believe?

The Lebanese Army were chasing 3 armed men in Me2atein street when one of the armed men blew himself up, so now we have suicide bombers in Lebanon as well.

Most of the Fateh El Islam fighters seem to be from countries such as Afghanistan, Tunis, Saudi, Syria, Pakistan, and Libya who reside in Palestenian camps.  This is extremely unsettling.

The battle is getting intense, and seems out of control.

I can only hope this will end well.

What my birthdate means

March 25, 2007 mid-afternoon

***Your Birthdate: June 7***

You are an island. You don’t need anyone else to make you happy.
And though you see yourself as a loner, people are drawn to you.
Deep and sensitive, you tend to impress others with your insights.
You also tend to be psychic - so listen to that inner voice!

Your strength: Your self sufficiency

Your weakness: You despise authority

Your power color: Maroon

Your power symbol: Hammer

Your power month: July

Last Day in Kuwait

March 18, 2007 around lunchtime

This is my last day in Kuwait, I am leaving tomorrow around noon so i dont think i will have time to do anything, plus i have to pack my stuff.

I havent posted in the past week since i was mostly out and i got a bit sick for a few days plus i got addicted to the series ‘Heroes’.

I didnt get bored here at all, it was a quiet vacation and thats what i needed, i do go out all the time in Lebanon and party and everything, i just felt like relaxing and not doing anything heh and most importantly not having to wake up early to work.

I do wake up early usually but i just dont wanna leave bed.

Anyway, Kuwait does resemble Lebanon in a lot of stuff, except of course the night life and the hot weather. Weather was real good though, it never got really hot fortunatelly for me, on the contrary, weather was very nice.

As for the people, i met a lot of Kuwaitis whom i got along with and had fun with them on several occasions.

In general, it was a relaxing vacation and i enjoyed my time here, i will consider moving in to Kuwait if i get a decent job, i think its the best among other Gulf countries, specially that i have friends here.
