Souk el Tayyeb
I was in Beirut yesterday and spotted tents ( Not Riad el Solh ones) facing the Mar Maroun Church. I went there to see whats going on, apparently they organize every Saturday or frequently a Souk where fresh grocery, bread and Lebanese goods are sold ( Labneh, Laban, Eggs, Honey etc ..)
The Saj was also present and i ate a yummy man2ouche, didnt have time to take a picture of it cause i was too busy eating it
They usually organize such events in Achrafieh @ Beirut, i remember seeing Flowers exhibition every Saturday organized in a huge parking lot near the Sofil center and it was very crowded but i think they only do it in Summer time.

damn that food looks good. i didn’t know that they have farmer markets in beirut. is this year round? planning to go this summer (if the situation does not blow up). would love to see this. since organic food is so readily available here, is it widely available in beirut?
