BouBouffe
This is probably the best Shawarma place in Lebanon, i thought i take few pics la 7ar2iss marc since he loves that place, and cause i was having lunch there today.
I was with a friend who used to come here in 1978 and eat and still comes and as he told me “Such places are one reason among many that keeps me from leaving Lebanon”.
I had one and a half sharwarma meat and once chicken. Whats so special about his shawarma ? first of all his meat is always fresh and second he uses ‘fa7em’ to heat the Sharwarma and not the usual heaters.
Boubouffe is right next to Spinneys in Achrafieh, it is very clean and its service is very fast.

I DO know the place! It’s right next to Entrecote! Yes! They do have good food, not just shawerma!

You obviously havent tried Al Mal7ama al jadida on nazlet el 7oss or snack hamoudi on zkak el blat.
Be forwarned though, you might be castrated if they discover you are an LFer.

Ballout, I’d rather eat in Boubouffe, i have seem many of those snacks in the regions u mentioned ( there is a place called Sheikha too), and honestly they are not very clean.

I was having dinner there once in the early 80s when a jeep pull over and two guys (Kataeb or Outwet or whatever they were called then) with M-16s stood at the door. Then a midget in a black gestapo style leather coat and a black hat started walking in the dining room and having people removed for “questioning”. Yeah, I have fond memories of the place.
