Lebanese Bloggers Quitting
Recently, several bloggers seem to be quitting. Some have posted that they quit and others simply haven’t posted in months. What’s going on? Do you guys think there are any reasons? Some of those quitters were really good bloggers whose posts I extremely enjoyed reading.

I think they are sickened from the politics.
Or they are writing poetry, they call it plogging.

I think blogging is something we control! and perhaps (not the case, it’s only one example) the person feels angered, desperate, hopeless or out of control, so they decide they would stop blogging, because this is one thing they control!

Yeah I not only noticed that too, but also participated! My reasons are that I was on holiday for part of it and was sickened at the intransigence on either said of the political debate. But I am what I am, and I’ll be back to it in no time I’m sure…same with everyone else…its a sickness!! We can’t avoid it.

for me, lags usually come when i just feel out of things to say, or for lack of a better expression, sick of words. which usually comes, yes, from frustration with the situation & the overdose of talking about it in real life that usually coincides.

ram,
if you are talking about the LBF, its values i think. If you’re talking about “in general”, its normal and natural, everything changes, i would speculate as most are disgusted with whats going on in lebanon, from govt, to opp to people
they’ll be back, thats also nature, or more people wil join too

bodhi: i wasnt discussing LBF… I didnt mention LBF, I was discussing Lebanese Bloggers in general. People who quit from LBF still blog on their own personal blogs, such as myself.
