Gebran’s Mass
Today was Gebran’s mass commemorating one year since his assasination. I think it was very wise to keep this event as a discrete one and not let politicians exploit it. It was attended by few hundreds, mainly from 14th of march, didnt see FPM there even though Aoun asked them to join in.
But who cares ?
It was an occasion to pray for Gebran and Moutran Awdeh has an excellent speech which i will post as soon as i find it, describing how courageous and fearless and committed was Gebran and how proud he was of giving away his life for his country.

i expected a different post from you, especially on this issue.
I expected you not to talk about who showed up and who didnt as if it was a grammy’s award. i expected you to talk about what this meant to you. i expected you to “condemn” the clapping in church. I expected you to condemn the political flags at mass.

Well Ram,
I just dont want to degrade this event, out of respect for Gebran, that is why i refrained from posting about what i saw there.
I am sickened of those masses that turn into political show off, i am sickened of those shouting Aoun and Hakim and waving huge Ahrar Flags in a mass dedicated to Gebran.
I wish they kept the mass as a private one and asked people not to attend. I prayed for him and stood away from the crowds to be honest cause i felt like beating up some guys there.
