I am at the office. I woke up real early today. I woke up at 5 and tried to force myself back to sleep. At 7:30, I realized I wouldn’t be able to get back to sleep. So, I got up and came to work. I was at work at 8:30… That’s when work is supposed to start but I rarely do come in before 9. I came in feeling so fresh but now I feel that time simply isn’t passing by. Work isn’t hectic. Small things here and there and that just makes me feel lost. I tidied up my office, filed my loose papers. Read the newspaper, read blogs, sent some emails and its only a bit past 11!

Urgh…

P.S. i finally completed downloading the first episode of Rome.

Things went downhill since my last post.
I felt my blood pressure drop. So I went downstairs to the mini market next to us and bought some chocolate. I ate the chocolate and my blood pressure didn’t return to normal. Instead I felt dizzy and my heart started beating rapidly making it difficult for me to breathe. It got difficult for me to move. I also felt nauseated. I never felt like that before. Next thing I know tears started rolling down my cheeks. I quickly called mom to pick me up since I felt I couldn’t drive and went to the emergency room. I went to Mubarak hospital since it is the closest to me.

I got an ECG, tested my blood pressure, and they also took some blood to test. The blood test result should be out in 2 or 3 hours. So, they gave me an injection to stop the dizziness. The doctor thinks the dizziness and nauseating feeling might be caused by middle ear. I will know in a couple of hours. I am back at work now taking it easy and waiting for the time to come for me to return to the hospital.

I never used to get sick and recently it seems like I am always sick. I don’t get it…

I don’t like falling behind at work.

The crippled side of me is winning over the normal me!

I want to jump around, get bruised, fall down, and be regular moi!

During my crippled days, thanks to my friends, I managed to watch a lot of dvds. Desperate Housewives : Season 1 was part of my watch list. I watched it all and got hooked to it. Tonight, mark, my bro, gave me the first 3 episodes of season 2 to watch…. and I watched them. I don’t want to ruin it for those of you who have watched it but I really like the little surprises and the suspense in this show.

I need my fix, I need the rest of the episodes!

This kid yesterday asked if I have oldies music since he wants a cd. I asked who he likes and he tells me air supply, guns n roses, aerosmith, etc. Those are not considered oldies! Are they? What is considered oldies? Is it possible that I have reached an age where music that I used to listen to while I was younger, and still listen to, are considered oldies?

Why aren’t there any “proper” pet shops in Kuwait?
Pet shops where you can go and view dogs and other pets, pick one from there or order one and have the dog you choose sent it. Pet shops that sell pet supplies. Pet shops that have a selection of pet supplies. Pet shops that could even have a qualified vet.

Is there a law against opening a pet shop? Hasn’t anyone seen the need to open a pet shop?

Why don’t I open one? hmmmm

The reason I ask this now, mom has finally agreed to get a dog in the house. You see, our dog of 8 years, died earlier this year. At first, we both refused getting another dog. A few weeks back I felt like I would like to have a dog again, and yesterday mom said she would like to have a dog again… but not any dog… a pug. I love pugs!

Pugs are hard to find in this region, and practically impossible to find in kuwait.

I want a puppy… sigh
